ABOUT US

~CARMEN WILKINSON ~

I spent 15 years as a proud Marine Corps wife, which brought me to the Jacksonville area, and I thoroughly enjoy living on the East coast.  I love being in the company of my 3 children, Mason, MaKenna and Micah.  My passion is diving into difficult situations, such as those that can arise in a real estate transaction, and creatively finding solutions to alleviate stress on my clients.

After completing my Bachelors Degree at Vermont College of Norwich University, I decided to seek another challenge.  With 21 moves under my belt and having lived in 8 states, I felt confident that I could relate to families who required relocation.  Having been raised in the apartment leasing industry and corporate housing industry, I knew the importance of eliminating ones frustrations during the process of moving.  I chose to become a REALTOR and help other people with the very thing that had consumed much of my first 10 years as a Marine wife.

I believe that my personal experiences have prepared me for being the type of REALTOR that understands her clients.  I am blessed to have the personal track record of one who truly recognizes the intricate demands of the Marine Corps, while understanding how to eliminate the stress that it has upon families.

I take pride in representing both military and civilian clients.  In fact, I know that my customer service isn't based on ones job, but on ones need for my services.  I enjoy what I do for a living and I believe that buying and selling real estate should not only be ethical, but it should be fun and memorable.  Looking back on all of my homes, my neighbors, my communities... I have learned that real estate transactions should provide lasting memories that are positive and enjoyable.

Buying a home means buying within your means.  Sticker shock at the closing table is something that I have personally experienced over the years as a buyer.  Therefore, I personally guarantee that I will take the time to help each buyer understand the process, the financial obligation and remind them of their budget... long before the closing table.  For my sellers', I guarantee you that I will work hard at getting you the highest net return and to keep you informed at all times with regards to changes that affect your bottom line.  The last thing I want is a seller to be disappointed while sitting at the closing table!

Referrals are the lifeline to my business.  My business is the lifeline to my own family's needs.  The two go hand in hand for me and I will make sure that your real estate transaction is more than numbers and anxiety.  I will work hard at making sure it goes hand in hand with the needs of your family as well.

Call me today.  Allow me the opportunity to introduce myself and the chance to help you and your family with your real estate needs.

~CHRISTINE DIORIO~

I never dreamed of becoming a real estate agent!  Seriously, although I have always loved house design, decorating, and organization, I never dreamed of being an agent.  I actually thought I wanted to be a Chiropractor or Marine Biologist.  But I firmly believe that although we may have plans in our heart, our steps are directed by the Lord.  And for that, I am grateful, because I have been blessed with many adventures in my life as a result of this 'altered plan'.  Now I enjoy helping families buy and sell houses and have a blast with Carmen while we work.

But getting to this point in my life from where I've been, is intriguing. I grew up in NJ in a big family, which is my biggest treasure.  I have 4 sisters, 1 brother, fun brothers and sister-in-law, and the most adorable nieces in the universe.  I graduated with a Biology degree from Loyola College and worked as a Water Quality Lab technician at the National Aquarium in Baltimore for 3 years.  From my lab window overlooking the Inner Harbor, I fell in love with the tall ship schooner, Lady Maryland, and got a job as a Deck Hand and Educator.  With only a bunk and a cubby hole, and a whole lot of tranquility, storms, and sunsets, life's priorities sure have a way of bubbling to the surface.  I then became the Lab Director of the land-based programs at Living Classrooms Foundation creating and teaching inner city kids dissections, water quality, and basic computer skills.

My life took a major turn after I saw the African Children's Choir perform at my church one evening.  I quit my job, sold my furniture, and traveled around the world with this nonprofit Christian organization that raises money to provide food, clothing, and an education to orphans.  These proved to be the hardest and most rewarding years so far.  I will never forget the smiles of unconditional joy that victors in the midst of suffering. Since then, I have played for the NY Sharks in 2004 as a cornerback in the IWFL, a women's pro tackle football league.  I came to NC to live with my sister-in-law when my brother was deploying to Iraq and found out that they were expecting their first child.  I had vacationed in NC before, but I was thrilled to now call it home.  I also have the privilege of working as a Youth and Home Group leader in my church.

Working near Camp Lejeune and New River MCAS gives me the opportunity to show my gratitude to our military by assisting them with their re-location.  I am proud of our troops and experience first-hand all the sacrifices they make for our country.  I can assure you that Carmen and I put our every effort to represent our clients with honesty and integrity.  We value the relationships that come our way through our real estate transactions.  We hope that you will be added to them!
